KENYA WILDLIFE SAFARI
With Mark Walters!
August 27-September 8, 2012
You are invited to join us on Safari in Kenya this summer! Come explore the spectacular parks
and reserves of Kenya, and look for elephants, lions, giraffe, and other wildlife at Samburu National
Park, the private Sweetewaters Sanctuary, Lake Nakuru, and in the Masai Mara (one of the finest
wildlife reserves in the world!). We will also visit the renowned Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in
Nairobi, the Karen Blixen Museum, and Giraffe Center, to see the endangered Rothschild Giraffes.
Our itinerary will include night viewing of wildlife at Mountain Lodge on the slopes of Mt. Kenya,
and a chance to see young rhinos at the Sheldrick Orphanage. It will be a tremendous adventure!
Leading the safari will be Mark Walters, our popular leader of many trips around the
Mediterranean. Mark spent a year working with the Kamba tribe in Kenya’s Eastern Province and
has traveled widely in the country. He has a working knowledge of Swahili, the national language,
and has a keen interest in the country’s cultures and environment. Joining him will be excellent
African driver guides. They look forward to sharing the delights of Kenya with you!
