This 15-day itinerary shows off the highlights of Chile’s meandering coastline: the small, lush island of Chiloe, home to the traditional village of Quemchi; the English Passage and Strait of Magellan, both legendary waterways; massive and majestic glaciers including Pio XI, El Brujo, Garibaldi, and more; national parks such as Tierra del Fuego and Bernardo O’Higgins. The natural beauty that awaits you in this region of the world is like no other.

Other highlights include rounding Cape Horn, sailing through the Pulluche Canal, searching for black-browed albatross, cormorants, and sea lions, and ending your trip in the world’s southernmost city of Ushuaia, Argentina.

Every day presents you with a new, breathtaking vista such as the Inside Passage, 1,000 miles of pristine islands and dramatic fjords where serrated mountain peaks and sheer walls of stone rise dramatically from the Patagonian plain. Winding channels, snow-covered mountains, majestic glaciers, and narrow passages are just a few of the spectacles you will find in this incredibly beautiful wilderness.

Zodiac expeditions are lead by a team of experienced naturalist guides who assist both on board and during excursions on shore. Search for wildlife including Magellanic penguins, caracaras, dolphins, humpback whales, fur seals, sea lions, condors, and cormorants.

Optional Kayak Adventure: Explore the magic of the Chilean fjords with a sea kayak adventure led by experienced, State-Certified kayak guides.  Quietly skim the water’s surface amongst the ice, searching for wildlife. Full professional equipment is provided, including tandem kayak, carbon paddle, full-body dry-suit, life-jacket, and AIS beacon.
